I have combined my experience as an occupational therapist and personal trainer with my  passion for fitness and mental wellbeing. My aim is to help people reconnect with their mind and body. Based in Wānaka, I spend as much time as I can enjoying the outdoors. When time permits you will find me hiking, biking, and skiing, often with family and friends.

Many health services in New Zealand act as the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff by working with people once they require medical intervention.

This model will ultimately prove too costly. A preventative focus is our path to the future. Invariably life will throw us many challenges in lots of different ways we can’t predict. Pain exists in various forms - emotional, physical, chronic, neurological. Recognising early on that you need some help can be life changing and prevent further disease, illness and ongoing conditions.  Sometimes it requires walking alongside another person for a period of time to see things differently.

Many people ignore their own health until they or a close friend or family member becomes unwell, has a diagnosis or health scare. My passion is to encourage people to put themselves first by looking after themselves and applying preventative health care actions  - allowing them to live a life where they feel better, are more energetic, are aligned with their purpose and able to live by their values. Care for yourself so you can be the best for others. If you are experiencing some form of pain and require help, work with Jo and her team to create a personalised prevention plan.

What Our Clients Say

Emotional Awareness Therapy:

I found our sessions really helped me in two ways. They enabled healing of past events or unhelpful beliefs, giving me both peace and a better understanding of who I am. They also gave me practical ways to help maintain this peace and reinforce how I would like to be. For me a freedom comes when I find these releases and I’m so thankful to Jo for enabling this process. These are now skills that I can continue to apply myself when life doesn’t go as planned. This is really life changing work. I found Jo really easy to talk to, which helped me to be comfortable to peel back more layers.
